FANKFUL FURSDAY--MAGGIE

Go ahead and giggle cos I is laughing my butt off at my silly sister that would go out in public like this............

So I is so fankful today is fursday cos my dad will be home late tomorrow when it is real dark from working on the highway to hell.........have you guys watched for that guy with the bright fluorescent green vest on, holding a sign that says SLOW THE HELL DOWN.....yeah that is hims.  He probably has a grouchy, look on his face cos he is hot and it is against the law for him to sit down, although he can smoke all day long, go figure.   Anyways here is a picture of a flagger, we know it is not him, cos this guy is smiling, and dad doesn't hold a mallet cos that would be dangerous for the cars that do not slow down and try to kill him everydays.

Anyways I is planning on laying right in front of the door so Isa will be the furst one of us pugs he see's.  Angus says WRONG cos Dad will trip over me, and hit his head on the table that mom has moved around while he has been gone, ........you can see where this is going..........not good.

We miss our Dad.  We miss bacon, sips of sweet tea, and sausage and biscuits everydays.  Now we are eating actual Alcatraz food, and water.  Our mom makes a good warden.   Just to show us she is in charge, she took me and stellie to the frankenvet last week, The girl that cut my nails made every nail bleed, and most of stellies.  They never broke us one time, we never cried or screamed.  WE know Gussie will take care of all that on FRIDAY.

You may want to wear ear plugs tomorrow around 2 pm.  They are trying a new knock out pill on him, and I am going to ask him to a few licks before he gobbles it down.  A girl has to get her beauty sleep before her dad gets home.

    Oh we really have lots of respect for Highway workers. I bet that is one hot job. Maybe you better leave out some cool ice tea for him.

    Maggie you are just a bastion of info this morning. I am glad your Dad is coming home because I know he has been gone a long time. NOTE: I lay down right by the door to wait for Mommy, too.

    We think that Stella looks so so cute in her sock monkey hat. Yea it might not be good if you Dad avoids the cars all week then comes home and trips over you. sounds like you girls were very brave. My dogtor made my back bleed on Monday but mom was feeding me treats and I hardly noticed!

    Maggie Mae, If the vet cut your nails to short and made you bleed, I think that they should pay you all the fee they charged. I just think they need some training. Your poor dad-what a hard job. We always wave and smile at the road workers who have the signs.

    So sorry your Dad has to work so hard. Our ghostwriter has been gone a lot lately too, working overtime. Dad is retired so we hang around with him most of the time. Oh, and he likes to watch an actual show on TV called "Highway Thru Hell" about guys who drive tow trucks and haul out cars and trucks that have crashed in the snow and ice up in the mountains in Canada.     We are so glad your dad is coming home. We bet you suffered not having sweet tea while he was gone! Maybe Gussie wouldn't mind it so much if the dogtur used the grinder instead of the cutters? Good luck with that!

    Mom's favorite cousin Lizzie who now is semi retired and has a pet grooming business used to do that. That is HARD work and we're always careful to drive slowly by the workers and give them a wave of thanks for keeping our roads safe.

    It sucks that your dad has to work a hard job, far away from you. We know he will stop being grumpy as soon as he sees your wiggly butts!
    Why are people so disrespectful of construction workers, including the flag people? Lady is always very careful and tries to smile and wave because she thinks that must be a very, very hard job.

    I am SO glads your Pops is coming home!!!! I knows how hard it is only trying to survive on foodables that MOMS gives you!!!! I gets all my extras from my Gpa, and Ma is constantly telling him to STOP. He just laughs and says okay...then gives me the goodies anyhu when she's not around....hehehehe
    I thinks your Pops rocks with that hard job! I wish I could send him Ma's cooling vest, so he could stay cool in that hot sun.
