FLOWERS WITH DORY

TGIF.  Mom has said those words at least 222 times to us today.  DAD is back home, and the mechanical chair is arriving in an hour to work his arm for him, and he will start PT all over today, Dad did good at his surgery but the doc said he needs aggressive PT or his arm will become frozen again, since surgery on WED. it has already went backwards ALOT!!!  He even has PT all weekend, even on Sunday if that tells you how serious this frozen can be.  Mom is tired and so are we. The only ones that are not tired are the +4, they have NOW found a way out of the pen and are running down the hallway.  Mom was so shocked she could not even hold the camera still to take proof pictures for you.

Instead we are showing you some flowers in the present and past at our house.

  1. I'm glad the surgery went well. And we also hope the pt can help your daddy's arm that it will never be frozen again. The mama was lazy at the pt-front and her arm makes noises now and works not as planned :o( I hope you find a way to avoid another prison break of the +4 :o)... and we love the idea with the blue bottles...

  3. Tell Dad good luck with the work on his arm. Be patient. Ghostwriter sees miracles every day at the nursing home where she works, and she just knows things will get better.

  4. We hope your momma gets a chance to rest soon! I'm starting to think when she gets to the BAR, she'll just let you out to play with us and then SLEEP the whole time!

  7. Pretty flowers BUTT we are concerned about the increased mobility of the +4! We sure hope your dad gets healed and stays mobile! Mom says the way the body immobilizes a joint by growing adhesions is very effective but not a good thing. Heal dad!

  8. Uh oh! The +4s are taking over. They'll be climbing the curtains soon. Maybe your dad should be the one to catch them with his frozen shoulder. Might be the best PT!

And your flowers are lovely -- Are those zinnias? I just bought some yesterday, I'm going to try my hand at growing them, I've never done it before.

    Take care, okay?

  20. Those are lovely flowers. We are keeping our paws crossed that your dad's PT goes very well and he doesn't freeze his arm again. We are a bit confused...is he sticking his arm in the freezer? BOL!

  21. Oh no - did he get the dreaded frozen shoulder? I had shoulder surgery, and I was warned a million times over about avoiding that. I'm so sorry. I sure hope that the surgery plus PT does the job.

  22. Oh dear me I hope and purr the PT equipment arrived and your dad is getting busy. When my bil had his stroke in 2013 his entire right side was affected but he was determined and he worked hard to get back to all the stuff he likes to do. With aggressive PT he was 95% in 2 months and within 2 more months he was 110%.
Please tell your DAD to work hard!! It is worth it and yes it does hurt but as they say no pain no gain!!
    Hugs madi and mom
