HUMBLING...........

Thank you for all your comments.

So yesterday my Mom had her meltdown in Blogville, which is like having it on all four major television stations with the whole world watching..............we three pugs told her to go ahead and rant and rave and get it out of her system, because when all of it was gone, then she could get on with the other stuff around her......................... stuff like .... work, (cough cough) taking care of Dad and us and the 951 cats plus the four new cute babies, that have also found their way to our house.  Even the little almost hairless  kitten who loves staying at our house, and then this morning Dad called moms work just to tell her that little hairless kitten was sitting on our back step in the rain...........................not good Dad...mom already had black makeup running on her face....not good.

So Mom gave herself a pep talk.  That doesn't mean she still doesn't hate what is going on, she does, but she isn't going to let Cancer take her spirit, or her MOM'S.

Prayers also help, and we can always use them, even prayers that might go like this, " Please God could you find homes for the 951 cats plus 4 new kittens, and even the little hairless kitten, and if you can't find them forever homes, can you move them over into the other neighbors yard cos he  has more money than we do?   And please take care of our grandma..............."

God likes simple prayers.

  3. I knows your mom is going through ruff times but she has to pull it together because she has to be strong for her mom. It's not always easy being an adult when it comes to dealing with parents. My mom understands what your mom is going through cause her mom is very sick and nothing is helping. Mom prays a lot and will add your mom to her prayers.

    Aroo to you,
    Sully

  17. We just read your post from yesterday. Such a nightmare. Mommy has gone through the cancer and she was lucky. We don't know if Mom would be standing up if she got your Mom's diagnosis. But your Mom is a tough lady. She is going to kick ass. And she has your prayers, for her, and for the kitties, and everyone else. Wish we could do more but when they are answered nothing is more powerful than a prayer

  18. Mom Kim here - I re-read your post from yesterday and, unless you cleaned it up or some critter nibbled away at some of what you say is ranting, I don't see it. After having both parents taken by cancer as well as a few relatives and close friends and co-workers, I feel like I know to well some of the feelings you talk about. And from the past few years of following treatment plans myself (just not for cancer) that didn't work out the way they were suppose to - I am right there with you on that too. You do NEED Mr. Normal back in your life and I do pray for it to come walking thru your door and back into your lives as soon as possible. Prayers for all and your mom to fight the possible cancer coming back and I pray that all 951 cats plus the 4 new kittens, and the little hairless kitten - all these find new homes or become a problem in the past ASAP!

  19. I just read your post and wish I lived closer. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and know this - your Mom is a fighter and she WILL beat the big C into submission Deb.

As for the kittens - well, Jeffie is swiping Angus's badge and saying "No more kittehs in da house" (The evil minx cat Shadow whapped him upside his head ala Gibbs from NCIS style and he's still a bit cranky)

If you need ANYTHING - just please let us know!!!
