DENTAL HEALTH AND WIENIE

Awhile back Sydney from Mr. Chewy sent us a list of items to review for Dental Health Month.  Mom picked something for us, (which we will talk about tomorrow) and something for WIENIE.  Now when mom starts choosing Mr. Chewy items for Wienie you know she ain't leaving our house!!!

So we explained to Wiener that once a month we get a wonderful surprise from Mr. Chewy and we never know what mom will choose.  It is like having Christmas once a month at our house. WELL that was a useless conversation because she does not understand words like Christmas or Mr. Chewy, all she understands is food and food and food.  We should have named her Piggy.

Mom told us dental health is very important to our overall health, and since none of us are very good at letting mom brush our teeth she was so excited about trying the offers.  This is what she picked for Wiener.

Feline Greenies.  Oven roasted and chicken flavored.  Well at this moment we three wished we could have turned into wienie cos chicken is our favorite food.  This is the value size and it only costs $2.59.

Well mom read the instructions and it said for a 10 lb. cat they could have 6 greenies a day, and to provide plenty of water.  So the first day mom just gave Wienie two greenies, and she gobbled them down.  The same with the 2nd and 3rd day.   Here is what Mr. Chewy says about these dental treats.

  • They're the #1 vet-recommended dental chew
  • Delicious chicken flavor cats love
  • Helps clean your cat's teeth by wiping away tartar buildup
  • Natural formula with added vitamins, minerals, taurine & chlorophyll
  • Each treat is only 1.25 calories
  • Contains no artificial flavors or preservatives
  • Made in the USA

  • So DAD being DAD decided since she loved them so much he would give her 6-8 as an evening treat.  Mom did not know he was doing this.  The next thing that happened Wienie got sick, and then got sick again, and then one more time.  Mom was all in a dither trying to figure out what happened and Dad confessed, I think Mom may have used a few bad words, and the word idiotic.

So now Wienie won't touch them.  She refuses even when mom puts it in her food.  ALL DADS FAULT.

Lesson learned always follow the directions and just because you like something doesn't mean more is better.

We were not compensated in anyway for this post.

    7. Dads never follow the directions which usually results in injury and/or pee'd off the moms.....true story.
