Sunday was bath day at our house.  Mom had been telling us that for over three weeks, and it never happened so imagine my surprise when I found myself here.............

"Mom I was napping, what are you doing????"   We three enjoy our bathes so it usually is not a big deal to us, but for some reason on Sunday we sorta had an attitude about it.

Maggie prefers the shower method instead of the bath method, she also blew mom a raspberry.....

I am not happy about this today.

Then it was Gussie's turn.

I am not going to look at you so you can take a picture.

See what happens mom when you turn your back on me!

Then after all our bathes were done, and we were dried off and shaking water all over our mom, mom realized there was one more bath she needed to do.  (when we have early morning bathes it still takes us till the evening to be dry).

Yes the MONSTER, is getting a bath....bahahhaahahhahahahah

Mom figured her arms would get all scratched up and we waited and watched to see just what was going to happen.

First mom had to find her.
Hey Cotton come here Mom has a really nice surprise for you.....teehehehehtteehee......

We have no pictures to prove this but she didn't give mom any problems, Mom got her wet, shampooed her quickly and rinsed and dried her off, all under 5 minutes time.  We think Cotton did not even realize what was happening to her.

"Why did Mom give you a treat and not us, you know we notice things like that!"

Later Mom got a bad migraine and it lasted until Tuesday.  Karma.

  1. Bath day is no fun but we bet it helped to cool you off if it was a hot day.

  2. Hari OM
OMD - baffs are always a challenge for the peeps! Be interesting to see whether Cotton remembers this at the next big washup! Hugs wags and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. Poor mom! What was up with no treat? I thought it was a rule to get treats after baths! You guys were robbed.

  4. BAFFS!!!!! Oh nose!!!!!

Gus, Maggie and Stella you are good pugs
    Hugs madi your bfff

  7. Ugh - how terrible = bath time.
FYI we haven't received any pawlympics pictures from you guys.

  8. I feel with you... I hate this water torture... and it needs 87 hours to find new stinky stuff to bring my furs in the same shape like before... humans... tststs...

  9. I guess now it would be called cruelty to animals but Lee's grandmother would stick the cats head in a shoe when it was bath time so she would not get scratched. It worked and no cat was harmed in the wash.
    Thanks for being a friend

    Lily & Edward

  11. Well it was only fair that if the doggies got waterboarded that Cotton should too! We hope your mom is feeling better!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  12. We hope you've pointed out to your Momma that giving you BATHS obviously causes migraines and should only be given very rarely!

  13. Oh, man! A bath ambush! I hate when that happens. At least Cotton wasn't the exception. You all went down in a blaze of glory together :) *ear licks* Noodle

  14. P.S. Hope your mom is feeling better.

  15. Hmph. Usually I wouldn't wish the migraine monster on anyone, but she gave you ALL baffs??? She deserved it!

  16. Our mom (and her back) wish she could give us baths in the kitchen sink!!!

  17. We are floppy moppy ragamuffins right now according to ghostwriter! But we won't be seeing our groomer for another two weeks! Miss Jacquie was all booked up when she got back from her vacation. And haha, we don't fit in the sink!

  18. OMD...your Mama is one brave lady!!! We hope her head is feeling all better after her karma headache!
    Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo

  19. we agree - baths and migrains go together

  20. OMD OMD OMC OMC your mom got TWO RASPBERRIES outta Four... THAT is GRRRREAT...

    BAFFS.... STINK.... Just sayin.

  21. A very ambitious mom! Cleanliness is next to dogliness. Someday we are going to get clean around here too.

  22. We prefer the tub baths ourselves. Sorry about your mom's migraine. Our mom gets them too. It can't be from all the barking

  23. I hope SHE will remember that when bath time comes around again, and I hope that SHE remembered to give lots, and lots of extra treats too!...And I hope SHE feels better too!!

  24. Bath time is the worst! Gosh, we never had a bath in the sink before.

  25. It must have been bath week,, I had a bath too
