Even though our house has central air, on really hot days I like to lay right beside the trash can on my cooling pad where no one can find me...........(mom hates that this is my favorite spot.)
Do YOU see me now???
No one finds me ...............like>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
not because she is not nice to me but because she calls me stellamaggiegussie when she is playing wif me..........BUTT
She can always remember this monsters name. Always .........."come here little Cotton.."
Right now she is trying to talk our Dad into picking the green tomato's....I wonder if she will get her way?
"Please grandpa Butch....please!"
Ump!!
Stella Rose
A nice fried green tomato sounds pretty good BUTT a fresh grown RIPE one sounds even better! We hope your dad is doing better. Oh, and keep your eyes on Cotton!

Murphy & Stanley
I bet she does because the grandmonster that reigns terror at our house always gets her way with her Grump but not so much with her Gaudy.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,

ReplyDeleteTummy ache from a green tomato might put her off that idea!!! I quite understand your hiding place Stella - low profile and all that!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
I'm glad you have a special spot to keep cool. Woofs to your tomato plant. Golden Woofs
ReplyDeleteOh, please wait until the tomato is ripe. It'll taste so much better!
ReplyDeleteBet you had so much fun together! Adorable pictures
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmm doesn't know YOUR names....the MOST IMPORTANT beings in YOUR house, but knows the cat's name? There's something drastically wrong there....
ReplyDeleteI am sure she gets her way, and it is good to have someone always be able to find you.
ReplyDeleteAt least you have something that can be recognized as tomatoes. We think Mom goofed and bought a pea plant, we have itsy bitsy green bumps on ours:)
ReplyDeleteThose little ones always manage to get their way:)

I have a cooling mat in 10 Downing Street (my carrier) just like that! (I think.) It's so comfy! That looks like the perfect place to "den"!

I don't know, that smile seems to have some magical power, so I say she maybe got to pick one? :-)
ReplyDeleteOur tomatoes are still just blooms! Hazel likes to go under the kitchen table when she wants Mabel to leave her alone

She sure is cute... so she can get away with anything! (and we don't even have green tomatoes - when I try to grow tomatoes, the green ones appear a week before the first frost in mid-September - argh).
ReplyDeleteI bet she read Fanny Flaggs Fried Green Tomatoes book and would like to try the recipes :o)
ReplyDeleteWe have heard of fried green tomatoes but we have never eaten them.
ReplyDeleteThis just reminded Momma it was time to get out our cooling pad! It was 100 bazillion degrees yesterday. Thanks Stella Rose :) I hope you got some yummy tomatoes!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Matt & Matilda
That looks like a super great hiding spot. We bet the little one got at least one tomato.
