I AM HOME!

I like this picture it shows I am in charge and did you see all my little pretty charms from my friends over the years.

Okay so I got home but was still really dopey, so I had a hard time walking.  I fink Maggie laughed at me.

Then I could not eat my chicken that mom had made for me, my brain said eat, but my mouf would not open.      So I cried and mom felt bad.

Then Mom had to carry me everywhere cos I wobble-weebled all around, and then I would cry, and she would feel bad some more.

So mostly last night I would cry, and sleep and cry and sleep and then around 4:30 this morning, I finally REALLY fell asleep, cos I snored in moms ear.

And I stopped crying.

This morning, I pottyed, drank water, and ate some chicken in my food.  I am having trouble opening my mouf to play wif my toys but probably tomorrow it will be better.  After all they took out 12 teefs and my Frankenvet said I had already lost 8.  Wowzer.

She said little dogs are very prone to this, even wif teef brushing.

She did talk to mom about my eye.  They tear tested it while I was asleep and my right eye shows no tears anymore even wif all the tons of medicine mom has used everyday for me.  So they are going to try another two types on me for a few months and hopefully that will increase some tear production.  If not......well that is a whole nother story.

Fanks for all my get well wishes.   Love Stellie Rose

  4. Glad you are feeling enough better to want to eat and play. It's no fun to weeble-wobble around. Good thing you are the right size for your mom to carry. Jan would have a problem carrying any of us, because we dogs are bigger than you.

  11. That's a lot of teeth to lose, Stella Rose - no wonder you can't open your mouth very well. We are glad that you seem to be doing OK overall, aside from the mouth problem. We are going to cross our paws that those new meds help your eye a LOT.

  23. WOW, that's a lot of teeth! But you know, my angel sissy Cinderella lost 14 teeth and could still eat stuffs with no problems. So you'll have a sore mouth for a few days, but I know you'll be back to bossing everyone around lickety split!

  24. Oh Stella Rose. That sounds really hard... really, really hard. That's a lot of teeth to have pulled. I'm sure that you'll feel a lot better each day.

BTW, my departed dog, Cadi, lost all tear production late in her life. No drugs worked. We figured out that it was due to an anti-inflammatory drug that she'd been taking (a side effect). Anyway, our opthamologist had us put lubricating eye drops in her eyes every 30 min whenever she was awake and we were home. We managed to avoid her ever losing her eyes due to ulceration by doing this religiously. It's a lot of work - but it can make a huge difference.

Sending you POTP to feel better.
