Baby Gus

Kylei my big sister took this picture..its better than mom's.  Baby Gus got to go visit the grandmonsters with our Dad yesterday, and I guess he slept on little Macey's lap most of the morning.

Of course he had lots of energy when he got back home, and Maggie and I paid for that nap!!  Mom says he is a really good eater, and is using his puppy pads really well.  He does have a cold so we are keeping a close eye on that.  He only hit the cabinet once yesterday when he was running around. Mom did notice once we are more than 6 inches or so away from him, he can't find us as well.

Mom had to get up with him two times last night cos he whined around to tell her he had to go potty.  Once again, she is really impressed.  Just wait till the day he chews up her favorite shoes, or worse......

Maggie plays a little more with him, but she is having a hard time understanding why he keeps trying to bite or play catch with her.  She is even afraid to take away his toys, at least for the time being. I don't think he will ever back down from Maggie tho.  He didn't listen very well to me either, when I told him nicely to stop biting my back leg.  Mom says I need to be more firm with him and show him who is boss, I just don't think that is ever going to happen.

Did you notice he is a silver pale black color...weird huh.

  1. OMP Now that is a face to melt hearts, what a cutie. sounds like he is doing super. You know I run into things sometimes when I am running around being crazy, and I can see!

  2. Hey I run into things once in a while and I can see pretty good. So I think he is doing GREAT!

  3. He IS a silver color... how charming! What a little character face, too... I know you will be so happy with him!

  4. He looks like a little CUTE ET! We just luv him to pieces. Sorry about the leg biting, Stella. My sissy Shelby is always biting my Mommy's heals when she walks around. At least it isn't MY leg. I feel fur ya, kid!

  5. He's adorable! Stella Rose - re: the leg biting - you have to be firm with him - you are the pack leader after all :) Also - remember, he may be blind but he's got some keen other senses so once he learns to use them to his advantage, he'll find y'all when playing.

The SousPug wants to know where to send you your treats - something about your mom and a crock pot? ;)

  6. His color is beautiful! Very impressed that he let you know he had to go out!

  7. OMD he is adorable! Once quick bite Stella and he'll stop.

    Pippa :)

  11. Hi Stella Rose
Your new brother is a nice looking pug, that's for sure. I hope he learns NOT to bite your back leg, though. Molly does that to me sometimes and I do NOT like it. I retaliate by ducking under her belly and pushing her up. She hates that.

  12. We are glad all is going well. Stella you need to show you are boss and teach him how things go over at your pad. No leg bitty. Have a terrific Tuesday.
    Best wishes Molly

  13. He is DARLING!!

Welcome to Blogville GUS!! YOU are gonna give a couple of girrrrls we know... a run fur their money.

  15. Wonder if he is a "blue?" The blue is new to French Bulldogs too but not recognized as a true color. Although pretty, the color is kinda shunned by some. You are adorable little one

  16. He is adorbs! You pugs, dog up! I love puppies, they're the best to play with. :)

  17. We think that Angus AKA Gus, is just beautiful! He's a special little fellow. It's wonderful to hear he is finding his way around the house. And to let Mom know he has to go out is a BIG plus for everyone. He's such a fine addition to your pack.

Also as soon as Rory saw his colour he wants him to be his little brother too!!! This is the start of a GREAT (get it... great!!) adventure for you all. Stella Rose and Maggie, get your big sister hats on cause we reckon this little fella is gonna melt your hearts. See ya soon. More photos please of all of you!! NO worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  21. What a good little boy, not being able to see and still having so few accidents and learing so fast. Genius
Gussie bless your little pug heart. That Teeter Totter theory of your Mom ~ well I think she is great and all balanced just right.
