Mom and I were up early this morning like at 3 AM and talking about our home. Mom has this weight on her shoulders and she wanted to share it with me, cos it has always worked for her in the past. Mag's was passed out in her bed a sleepin so I could actually just sit and listen for once.
Mom told me she has come to realize We All Do What We Can in Our Own Way. The trick is to let it be enough and to not judge what other's are able to do. Well she sure has me confused, but I just did my famous head tilt and listened to her. I guess we will see where this will lead.

It's a hard lesson for us humans to learn. Glad mom had you there to listen.
ReplyDeleteStella keep your Mom company and keep listening she needs you! We miss leaving comments lately but we have been ready from work (can't post there) and wish you all the bests!

What a good lesson to remember - Stella, I'm glad you are there to listen to your momma and give her advice (or a hug) when needed!
ReplyDeleteTrue story! Wish I could explain that to my humans!

That sentence confused me at first, but now I understand. Your mum is very sensible! cute photograph, do you like cuddles?
ReplyDeletePippa :)
Well put, bravo mum. We give you a high 5. Excellent advice. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We agree with what she said... BUTT WHY did she say it THAT EARLY in the morning???
ReplyDeleteMore people should listen to your Mom. She's so right.... we all do what we can. We should NEVER try and keep up with "the Jones'."
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lily Belle
Wait...What? A hooman was right fur a change? Oh dears da world must be endin'!!!!!! But seriously, her be totally right...we can all do things but we all can't do everything and yada yada. Ain't no sense in tryin; to keep up with da Jones' like Lily said, it wastes valuable time and eats up our happiness.
ReplyDeleteI was awake at 3 am too!!!!!!!!
I do hope everything is okays at your house. I will be more than happy to helps remove dat weight from your mom.
Big hugs to ya'll!

Howdy Stella Rose, your mum is a sensible woman. Wish we could say the same about ours but she is coo coo in the head (remember the spitting in tissues business!) We'll pass on your fabulous message cause it sounds perfect to us. Our mum worries that we should be doing this, how come so and so can do that, why do we poo on the area outside the backdoor instead of down in the grass blah blah blah. We agree with you. We can only do what we can do in our own way. We're just off to wake up mum and tell her. See ya Stella Rose. Give your mum a hug from me and a big slobber from Rory and after she's washed her face, she will feel fabulous. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteWise words from your mom Stella. We totally agree. Give her big hugs from us

PS: Please hug her for me, OK?
Stella, it's so nice that you are there to listen to your mom. She is a smart lady.
ReplyDeleteJust remember, Stella my furriend... mommas are ALWAYS right... just remember to hug her with your little paws and she will feel better (and be nice to the Magster). It works for my momma when she doesn't feel good.
ReplyDeleteI have some very meaningful conversations with my Finn too. No judgements here. Hope everything sorts itself out.
ReplyDeleteYou were helpful to your mom we are sure.

Your mom is right. We all do what we can. We aren't all meant to do the same as others.
