This is Gussie Boy relaxing with Dad while Mom is fixing the turkey last week. See how big he is getting. Mom hardly ever calls him Baby Gussie anymore, now she calls him Gussie Boy.
Remember a year ago Maggie came to live with me and she was only 12 weeks old. She is growing up also. Sometimes we like each other and sometimes we don't. Mom says human sisters are like that also, but it all works out.
Come on into our house and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate cos our weather is starting to get really cold today.
Our living room.
Living room.
Family Room. See the little yellow cat on the swing. That is Deitzy.
The beginning of our card wall. No cards belong to our parents...bahhahahah
Family Room.
Kitchen Window. See those snow freaks they watch us eat our breakfast everyday! They wait for us to drop crumbs.
Here is more of them looking on. You will also notice we still haven't gotten down the new kitchen floor. Oh well...
Mom bought this old cabinet from her friend. It has glass in the top and was probably made in the early 50's. She is going to repaint it in the spring. Notice the snow freaks behind the glass. Well, those are the more dangerous ones.
Thank you for coming over for hot chocolate. Please come back soon!!

ReplyDeleteLove all your fabulous Christmas decorations. We are just doing our tree. Stay warm and cosy now and have a wonderful Wednesday.

I love your Christmas decorations. When I was a little girl, we had a cabinet similar to that in our kitchen. One day I climb on top and it fell over on top of me and broke all my mom's pyrex dishes. They were expensive back then. Well, I didn't get a cut on me, but boy was my bottom sore for days,

Thank you for inviting us in to your house on this cold winter night!
ReplyDeleteThe hot chocolate was perfect with the melting marshmellows. And it felt so good to pull up a chair and sit-- and look around at all the pretties.
All those little decorations, and the sparkly colors, everywhere- even on the windows is such a peaceful feeling to look at. It feels good to see the spirit of Christmas coming alive- more and more. We would all just love to visit more often- and get to know each of you,,, and I promise I will learn to say Gussie Boy,,,and I know we all would be the best of friends,,,
thank you for inviting us into your home for some love and cheer-- and a place to warm up on this cold winter night.

Howdy Mates, we loved seeing your beautiful home but couldn't come in cause we both PEE every time we see snow freaks. Rory had to hide ours so he wouldn't pee everywhere in our home for gosh sakes. Hot chocolate sounds good though. Hope it was yummy. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Hi Stella, very nice decorations! I noticed two things missing from your photos-- you and your mama! :-) And boy, haven't Maggie and Gussie grown? We haven't even started decorating! We usually wait until around Dec. 15th or so, then everything comes down on January 1st.
ReplyDeleteHugs from your friend in NJ, Patty
