Good intentions that did not go the way Mom thought it would. She was so excited when the food arrived because she wanted to feed them healthy.
Here are the good things about his holistic product:
Wonderful, right..................wrong. No one would eat it. Not wiener or her 100 brothers and sisters. Mom was shocked, she even tried wet food with it, even tuna...........NO TAKERS.
Mom didn't understand what was going on in their heads, so she emailed Ms. Sydney and told her she has failed, BUTT she had one more avenue to try. Yep, THEO our cousin.
Theo is a big ole ragdoll cat that thinks he is more dog than cat. Apparently that is part of their personality. Lately, he had been giving his mom a bunch of worries cos all he would do was walk around the house and meow and yowl and meow, and want to eat, and eat and later eat. So Mom called his Mom and said do you want to try this on Theo.
Now Theo is known for his pickiness so Mom was worried how the challenge would turn out..........and so were we.
Stay tuned.
Part two will be running tomorrow.

OMD OMC OMC that is very much strange that NONE of the kitties seemed to like the new foodable...
ReplyDeleteWe hope that Theo does.
You know.... having a "FAILURE" as one of the reviews is actually WONDERFUL... THAT is what this Review thingy with Chewy is all about... our Chewy furends CARE about US and do not want to carry a brand or flavor that their customers would be wasting their $$$ on. AND it also allows them to let the company know that they might need to do some reformulations...
You don't learn anythingy much from a Success... butt a MISTAKE teaches everybuddy TONS of thingys...
We can't believe none of the cats would eat it. Cats are weird.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post, love reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteWe got a bag of new doggie food once that was made out of bison meat and sweet potato. We both hated it! Even when ghostwriter mixed it with our regular dry food, we took mouthfuls of it and dropped it on the floor so we could pick out the good kibbles and left the bison kibble lying there! We doggies usually like just about everything, but not this. Go figure!
ReplyDeleteOh I can't wait to hear more... I hope the food worked in THEO-ry and practical too :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Stella et al
ReplyDeleteI am so shocked that the kitties did not eat the holistic cat food. Sunshine, the notoriously picky cat who insisted on toppings, loves that food and will eat it without toppings . . . in ONE SITTING! Unheard of. But all kitties do not like the same things - just like I loved the dog food from Holistic Recipe but Molly absolutely did not.
Frankie is right - sometimes failure is the best thing for a reviewer to report.
Love Noodles
Somebody should have told those kitties that beggers can't be choosers! BOL! Hope your handsome cousin liked it

Can't wait to hear how it turns out. What a wonderful photo of Theo!
ReplyDeleteThat's too funny! Maybe they will change their minds and give it a try. I bet Theo will like it!
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah, we furries never do what humans expect. Will Theo like the food? We hope so.
ReplyDeleteOMD...What a picky eater that Weinie is, we hope Theo liked it! We loved ours!
ReplyDeleteFOR sure we cats are finicky eaters. Any time my food is changed it has to be done in stages. With a larger ratio of old food and new. It can take several weeks to get down to just the new food. We hope Theo will like it.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
We can't believe that all those cats wouldn't eat such good for them food. We hope it went better with your cousin.
