DEAR MOM-FROM MAGGIE

Isa just finking back when my bestest BFF in the whole wide world and Isa was sitting on that bull in Texas.  bahahahhahah........anyways.....(we see you SULLY)

Dear Mom:
Tuesday Stellie Rose wrote you a rather whiney letter about TREATS, bahahhah she wrote about FOOD....how is that for a typical stereotype of a PUG.....well NOT this PUG cos Isa writing you about somefin much more important than our food,>>>>> PROTECTION.

Yes, Mom you must recognize by now that I am the bravest pug in our house next to mean ole cat dietzman, and he isn't to reliable anymore since he lives in the heavens above our house.  Anyways I fink you should tell the world how proud of me for being such a good guarder of you and dad and stella rose and gussie.   Instead I get in trouble for barking last night!!!!!!!!

I saw a cat under the bird feeder and I went into high alert, cos eyes luvs those little birdies that fly around inside of Alcatraz, I dos not luvs that cat.  You told me to stop!!!!

Then I started barking at that little dog who lives down the hill froms us, cos I finks he was looking over at our house....You told me to stop!!!!!

THEN, I started to bark at this monster on our porch, he was huge and dark and very scary looking, and you again TOLD me to stop, that it was your shirt a drying on the hanger.  YOU laughed at me AND toles me to STOP.

I fink you need to get your priorities in order and realize how valuable I is to this household and quit loving on Stellie Rose all the times, and loves on me more or else Isa gonna go liv with my BFF across the ocean.  Just saying.  And Isa taking my Gussie Boy wif me!!!!!

  1. Maggie, perhaps you need to remind your mother of a famous American who called out an alert by the name of Paul Revere. If you continue barking out alerts you may also be shown in the pages of history books!

But now I know that you are a fearless girl and I will call you when the giant invisible intruder appears in front of my crib again :o)

  5. Peeps just don't always understand do they - we are there to protect them and who would they complain about if we just let some bugler in without a peep!

  6. Maggie you are just doing your job ! You know that Bailey barks at the neighbor dog even though he sees him everyday and never barks back.
And I, Mabel, try to protect my peeps when I let them sit on the couch with me - from Bailey of all doggies. As far as I am concerned the couch is just for me and Mom and Dad and sometimes Hazel. For some reason Mom and Dad say that is not cool, but whatever!

  8. You are so right Maggie. Your mom should be happy that you are there to let her know when bad things are happening outside your house. Even if it is just a shirt drying.

  11. Moms just don't get it, do they, Maggie? Mom is always telling Lightning to stop barking at strangers in our yard - sheesh, he was just trying to warn you about something there that shouldn't be there even if he was getting paid to stain the deck!!!

  13. Hi there, I think you are doing a wonderful job Maggie. Hunter has an ottoman that he sits on facing the street and sidewalk and he sounds so mean when he barks at people going by or one of the neighbors. It is so silly, because he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. I hope you get extra treats for doing such a good job.

  14. Your Momma laughed at you when you warned her about the huge, dark, scary monster on your porch? She said it was your Daddy's shirt?? She couldn't see the monster in your Daddy's shirt?? Crikey ...... no wonder you gotta bark at her.

  16. Okays I've gotta give it to you on this one Mags, you're absolutely correct. The peeps do not seem to appreciate how serious we take our jobs of protecting our homes. Just think if we didn't bark and something went down, we'd be in real trouble then. We're damned If we do and damned if we don't. We need to ban together and demand some respect!!!

    Aroo to you,
    Sully

  18. I can't believe they don't appreciate all that you do to keep them safe! I also get lectured about these things. Who else is gonna let them know that there are leaves blowing around outside or that something moved in the yard??? We are saving them so much money in not having to hire protection guards. I don't get it

  19. Hi Maggie Mae... I wanted to tell you what a brave and fearless puggie you are! My Angel was just like you! she was the guarder of the front door when people knocked; she guarded the house from squirrels and she was the guarder of her dad on the couch! She was also very sweet and loving, which is what I suspect you are under your tough girl exterior!

    Happy Friday!

xoxo your friend from NJ, Patty
