A CHRISTMAS STORY

This story is about Maggie (sorta) so Mom put her picture on here instead of mine.  We have some new ones but don't have them downloaded yet.  So...... on Christmas Eve morning Maggie had a appt. at the Vet for her round of shots (hehhehe) and new puppy checkup.  She looked pretty stupid cute in her little pink bunny rabbit hat, (pictures to come) and it was cold out so she wore her matching scarf also.  Well we hates to go to the Vet and Sammer really hated it cos of their big ole cat that roams the rooms there.  They had a hate-hate relationship going on.  I wondered what Mag's would think of her first visit.

Mom said as soon as they walked in the door the cat's hair stood up on his back and he ran and jumped up on top of one of the shelves. The vet said he didn't know what was going on with him. (maybe it was the bunny ears that freaked him out) Then when Maggie went into her room to be Tortured checked out the Cat came in there and yowled and ended up way up high knocking of boxes.  The Vet assistant had to catch him and take him out of the room.  They both said he had never acted like that, and had grew up in the office and was use to dogs and cats coming and going.  Maggie got her shots, medicine for bacteria infection in her ears, and now weighs 5 lbs.  They thought she was a cutie.

Mom told Dad the story later that night, and they got to talking about the night they got Maggie, and how she just ran over to me, and ran around the house like she knew where everything was at.  Remember she ran right over to the toybox and stole each and every toy and put them in Sammer's bed.  She snuggled with mom and dad like she had always known them.  We want to believe that Sammer's spirit guides litte Maggie or maybe that his loving heart lives within....we don't know....we just believe.

  2. We think it's possible! Kori does a lot of the same things our Lad used to do. We think he tells her what to do, so we won't miss him so desperately.

  8. We believe it, too! Mama used to have a kitty named Bailey and he would sit and stare at her ... now Zoe does it.

Glad everything checked out okay for Miss Maggie at the doctor and hopefully her being sore last night was just too many people holding her ... kind of like with a newborn baby!

We hope Santa was good to you and Maggie, too!

Sorry she had to get some jabs butt we think it's funny that the old cat at the Vets didn't like her, hehehe. See ya soon mates. How's the toilet training going? Hey Stella, if it's too cold outside, you could sneak out a wee and blame the pup hehehehe. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  15. Definitely! Where dogs are concerned I am a big believer in reincarnation. Weasley sits just like our late pug Bingo who passed 3 years ago.
