BINKIES and A BABY PUG

First I changed her named from Godzilla to Margaret that way when she hears me say Margaret she will know I am peeved at her.  Mom thought that sounded better anyway.  Yesterday Dad was home so he spent the whole day with us and let me tell you he got an eye full.  Here is a list of EVERYTHING she did wrong.
1. Missed the puppy pads one zillion times.
2. Sank her razor sharp teeth into my little tender ears one zillion times.
3. Stole and shook all of my toys.
4. Thought she was batman and dived off the chair....dummy.

Finally it was warm enuf Dad took us out to Alcatraz and she loved running all around.  I played keep away from her but she kept getting under my feet so I rolled her a couple of times to teach her the concept of KEEP AWAY!  She yelped and Dad told me I was being to rough.  WHAT...did he not read my list of transgressions....She is a 3.5 lb rat if you ask me.

Then later I went over to my toybox and brought out a binkie from the grandmonsters years ago.  Mom and Dad just looked at me, (cos now in their eyes I am a giant pug) and the next thing I know ratgirl stole my binkie and sat on Dads lap with it in her mouth.  Mom was working on her camera and lots of "wash your mouth out with soap" words came out of it, and she couldn't get the picture.  So imagine this...a small headed rat mostly hairless with a large pink binkie in their mouth that almost covers the bottom half of their face and she is looking at us with big eyes. Why would we want any record of that floating around!

Mom got all teary eyed later cos she was sitting on her lap and the next thing you know she started kissing mom and licking and biting her ears. Mom told Dad only Sammer ever did that to her.  Yep, I just knew he sent this little monster to shake up my world!  You ole stinker, Sammer!!

P.S. Mom had a hard time sharing yesterdays post with you, but she wanted to share about the power of friendship.

  1. Both Zoe and Webster loved binkies when they were babies ...

Stella you must remember that Maggie is just a baby. She is going to have accidents. And she is going to bite you but she doesn't mean to hurt you! And the toys ... just remember it's almost Christmas. Maybe if you give her some of your old toys Santa will bring you some new ones!

Tell your mama to hurry and get that camera working so we can meet your new sister!

  5. It's hard training up new siblings, but it's worth it in the end! Remember, Maggie may be really annoying right now, but she's just a baby. It's your job as a BIG SISTER to teach her how she's supposed to act. She'll be a real pug instead of a rat terror in no time!

  6. We are so glad that your mom DID share the story of her BEACON of LIGHT with us.

Now about MARGARET... I can surely RELATE to all those thingys about MARGARET... since I (Frankie Furter) went through the SAME STUFFS.. when ERNEST was a pup. SHEEEESH. WHO know a pup could be like THAT???
Love that you can use BOTH of her names Maggie and MARGARET when you want or NEED to.
We can't wait to see some Pics of her... in ACTION.

  7. We LOVE how you're going to call her Margaret! Our Grandma used to call Mom Matilda Jones when she was mad. Go figure, Mom's name is Kim! Every time Mom heard Matilda.... She'd run for cover.

We think that in the end Stella, all is gonna be just fine. Maggie is just a wee little pupper and has to learn the ropes. I know you're gonna teach her all the right ways to do things, it's just gonna take some time. Please have patience too with her.

Yes, we agree that your little stinker Sammer must have sent her to you. So that makes her extra special. Just remember, you're now TOP DOG, and that means ya gotta give her a break.

    Love ya Stella Rose!

  9. Stella I know your PAIN!!!! It sounds like Godzilla/Margaret is just like Molly. Somedays it is all I can do to maintain my DIGNITY!!!! I am told she will grow out of the puppy stage in a couple of months.I asked Sandy Paws to make it SOONER! I don't think I can take it for another couple of months (Molly is 5 months old).

  11. Yes you are going to have to look deep to find a new relationship with your new little sister. Sometimes those young ones can literally be a pin but you will get to where you like having her around. And about your mom having trouble sharing yesterday's post, sometimes those are the ones we need to write most of all. At least that is what my mom tells me. Have a wonderful day and watch for those rats!

    Your friends,
