UPDATE ON STELLA

Hi friends, its Gussie here.  Stella Rose is resting and our Momma is at work so I is in charge of the puter for the day.  Isa told Mom I would take care of sending information about Stellie to all our friends.

Mom took her to the dogtor when hers got off work, and Stellie acting pretty happy to get to go with mom all by herself. Isa suggested Mags and me go along for some support and love (and to run arund the frankenvet like crazies that we is) but Mom was in a hurry and wesa had to stay at home.

So, Mom tells the vet hers is worried about Stella and all the time hers is a talking Stella is wagging her tail and giving kisses and acting just fine.  Hers was making a big fibber out of ours Mom.  So, the vet finally does say that her left eye is bigger than her right, (mom has been telling everyone that for a long time and no one would listen) and they talked about how dry hers eyes are all the time.  So they took blood work to rule out anything else and the Mom had to leave the room cos her is a wuzzie with blood.  Thats why Isa needed to go cos i is the man of the house, when dad is gone, (and even sometimes when dad is at home) and I would have been strong for stellie.  The first time they tried it didn't work cos hers was upset and wouldn't hold still, so Mom put her big girl panties on and went in and talked to her, and magically she held still and they got their blood.  They also talked about how crabby hers can get with us meanies sometimes. The vet reminded Mom how we feels if wesa have a bad headache and peoples would be bugging you, like biting on your ears, and back legs, and you know loving stuffs like that.

So Mom and hers waited for the results, ...in the meanwhile they took her temp (OMYPUG) and checked her weight.  Mom was worried she had gained cos her feels like a piggy when you pick her up but she had actually lost weight.  Hers weighs 15.4 lbs.  The frankenvet said that is really good for a pug.  Dad thinks the scales are off by like 10 lbs.  Anyway her looked healthy and hers heart sounded good.  Finally the bloodwork cames back just fine, so they talked about her eyes.  They thinks its like peoples who gets migraines and how the light hurts and makes you feel sick.  They may be why hers lays behind things in the dark and seems more tired.  They upped all her eye medicine and gave her a pill to take to help with the pain.  Its like Tylenol for puppies.  Hers only has a weeks worth and if Mom doesn't see any difference then hers has to go to a bigger vet place for a more detail eye check.  WE hopes it works just fine.

Stellie was in a real good mood last night and Mom gave her the medicine.  We had company when we got home.  Maggie and isa had to stay out on the porch cos we are unruly monsters and jump on Baby Bean sometimes.

See Stella Rose a smiling!  We have a review we will be doing later today.  Thank you for all your comments about my girl Stella Rose.  We loves our friends!

  13. Miss Stella has such a beautiful smile! We hope she gets better and better everyday, thanks for filling us in Gussie.

Scarlet's right eye is twice the size as her left eye. The vet says she was born that way and she's OK. She doesn't see all that well, but she has us to keep her in line O_o

  21. Pugs are notorious for eye issues, aren't they? Audi is definitely living proof. Happy to hear that Stella's check up was just fine. Maybe she was just having a bad few days like we Humans have sometimes. Hope she gets better and happier in no time :)

  27. Thank you for the update! I was worried about little Stella not acting like her usual self. I'm glad to hear all her tests came back good. I hope the eye drops will help with her dryness and the pain pills will help her reset back to her usual self. I'll keep her in my thoughts.

    -Love,
    Sid.
