MY TIME WITH SANTA

As most of you know I had the most fantastic wonderful adventure any little pug could ask for, even if it meant that Mean Ole Cat Dietzy had to go wif me to pugsit.  My mom is strict that way.  We haven't really had a chance to talk about it much, cos we all have been soooo busy with Christmas, and New Years and resting up for 2015.

So I wanted to take just a little time this morning to tell you of some of the memories from my trip that I would never ever forget.

FURST mean ole cat dietzy was nice to me as long as I just let him play with the catnip mice and lounge around....basically he left me alone and I left him alone. That plan worked out great!!

Mom did talk to him about "catnip" mice and the dangers of over indulging....but he just looked at her and rolled his eyes, and basically told her if she was as old as he is then its not gonna do much harm, besides the vet gave him a SPECIAL prescription for them, and he picked up a few more on the trip that night with Santa.  Um.....

I on the other hand, got to meet all the elves, Mrs. Claus and spend as much time with Santa as I wanted to .  He is a grand ole man.

(Look close at that one package and what is sitting on top of it....weird ...um????)

I told him all about where I was born at, and how I came to live with my momma and da.  I told him about the grandmonsters and grandpa and grandma and my big human sisters.  We talked and talked.  I askeded him lots of questions.  He is the smartest man I know!!!

He told me a couple of fings that I will always carry close to my heart and he also said it was just fine to share it wif the peoples and four-leggers I love and cares about.   Furst he said he looks at every family here on earth as a beautiful snow globe and that each one is different.  Some have music boxes with them, and lots of snow, some have beautiful houses with soft twinkly lights, and some have many children sliding down a snow covered hill, but no matter what the differences there are many similarities.  He toles me everyone snow globe has a tiny crack running down the side, and no one else can really see it, but hims.  That crack can be caused from lots of hurt, and loss and humans just struggling through their lives, but the globe always stays together.  I asked him if it is cos we use gorilla glue and he said no, it is the love that we feel for each other that holds them together and then he just patted me on my little head.

I faught about all the little globes my momma has in her kitchen window each one different, each one the same, and realized he is one smart santa.

He also toles me that when he started researching this "blogging" world he became amazed.  Yes, you humans actually amazed our Santa.  He toles me that being a blogger is never for the faint of heart.  That once we open the door and ask a family into our lives, we are also asking sorrow to take a seat at the table.  Santa said normally humans try to stay far away from their hearts hurting but the bloggers just jump right in.  He said he has never seen anything like it in his long long life.  I faught a lot about that after I got home, and visited my friends blogs.  I faught about how I still send Sweet Greta emails and sometimes hers sits with me on our special tree limb.  I faught about how even for a little pug how hard it is to let my friends stay at the rainbow bridge and not here on earth with me.  And how I nevers would have even known her if it wasn't for my momma a blogging.

I toles Santa that I hope 2015 will bring ONLY happiness...and sweet ole Santa just shook his head, and his snow globe, and then I saw the crack.  I know no matte what comes around the corner all the loves here will keep it together.  Santa toles me that.

  20. You did an excellent job of representing all us dog bloggers with Santa. We owe you a debt of gratitude my friend. Being a dog blogger is hard sometimes when we lose special friends but that's when they need us the most.

  24. This is such a great post and thank you so much of your kind words on my site. I love my big boy so much and I admit Ive had thoughts like why did this happen even with his supplements and diet and all but as the vet said, in the end this always happens. Norbert will be with me always because he has helped make me who I am. We will celebrate his life during this time. Thanks so much for your kind words and for this post that made me smile

  26. Howdy Angus. Father Christmas is one wise old man and you are too little mate. We love the idea that our family is in a special snow globe (even if ours is a bit smokey at the moment hehe), but that our family is always together, never apart even if they have left for the Rainbow bridge or other places. Happy New Year to all in your family, Angus. Your momma has a special gift with words and we love them. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
