I told Momma last night that blogging is the healthy way for us to work through all the hurt in our hearts, that everyone on here loves us, and cares about how we are doing. So finally she let me do a little blogging. Mom is real worried about me right now, but I told her to give it some time cos i heard somewhere that time heals. Thank you again for being our friends.

Before the collies, we had a shep/lab mix named Mojo and a golden ret. named Chloe. (we did a blog post about them a couple months ago.). We adopted them and they were inseparable for 10 years. And it was very hard for Chloe, after she lost her sister, she seemed to grieve for a long time. They do mourn the loss of canine and juman companions. When you are ready, maybe adding another dog to the family will help her.

That photo is way too cute! We did Christmas pictures yesterday! After taking several pictures trying to get everything just right (in between us running off and Bailey getting cranky) one of the first pictures taken is the one Mom likes the best.

Stella, our Jimmy mourned hard for his Roger when she got sick, then when she passed. I know it's too soon to think about it, but little Petey has made all the difference for Jim. It's brought him back to life, in a sense.
