POTP for GRETA

This is our pug friend Greta.  She lives in Idaho at the pug ranch with her sister and brother.  Since our crappy laptop took a dump we have to use our kindle to check on everyone over the weekend, and we just found out on Sunday about Greta.  Hopefully our laptop will be well and we can comment and post over the weekends.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  It seems like there is a lot of hurting out there in the world going on right now, and blogville friends and family have the most kindest caring hearts.

This is what Linda said in her last post yesterday.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers
our Greta is very very sick
Most of you already know that she ate a bad mushroom
and even though she vomited it up a short time later
the toxins are reeking havoc in her little body

She appeared to be getting better when she
had a seizure late this afternoon and her temperature spiked and she had pooped blood

We got there shortly after and we helped to get her temp down by hosing her down
while bloodwork was done. Although there is concern with some of the results, our vet says everything is managable if it doesn't get worse.  Her glucose level was very low and she thinks that is what caused the seizure.
When we left, her heart rate was normal and she was breathing strong but still very out of it.

Thank you again for all the comments and thoughts and prayers
for our Sweet Greta, please keep them coming

  4. I was so sad as I heard the bad news. And it was such a great day, where Greta met some blogfurfriends in the furs. How sad that it ended that way for the cute pug girl. I cross my paws and the idaho-pugs are in our thoughts...
