MOM promised us a big surprise today.................we want to share it in pictures wif our dearest friends................

Whose that coming up the steps...should I bark or should I yell YAY real loud........I faught Dad was going to have our strong uncle abe help him up the steps but it looks like our mom ............oh dear..

Whats that grumbling I hear....do you hear it..........

Is that my Dad coming over to sit wif me on the recliner?????

Ha Ha girls I am the first one to jump up on dads lap....oh oh I forgot moms rule about not jumping on my dad.............

I refuse to share Dad's lap with anypug else...............yes dad is smoking..........dang it!!

My question is, does Dad wear a walking harness just like we do now????  See my tongue Dad do you fink it has gotten bigger while you have been gone??

why can't you pick me up and put me on your lap dad, ............what...........are you sure I weigh more than 8 lbs................mom put me on dads lap..........

Quit hogging Dad gussie!!!

Come on Dad pick me up?!!

ah.....home sweet home....me and my dad.

(well butch is home and this is the first time he has sit in a chair for 18 days, he can only sit 30 min. at a time, then he is to rest in bed....the doc told us this morning recovery could take as long as 6 months.........she told him no driving until he was released, he was very unhappy when he heard that...........I am running back and forth between home and work today............I will check back with you all on Monday............thank you again for yesterday, it was magical.)

  3. Oh happy happy happy!! Pugs what a wonderful post. We will keep your dad in our purrs and send hugs to him, mom and our Pugs.
Slow and easy wins the race...and of course patience..which is hard to have we know. The precious hubby to my sis had a stroke in Nov. 2013...lo and behold with patience and lots of PT and hard work and TLC from my sweet Sis her hubby is 100% well ALL over. Things like this are very very scary but keep the faith all will work out

  12. Sounds like it's going to be just like the vets saying, 'keep them quiet'. Going to be hard, but we're glad he's home where he can have constant Pug care!

  14. We are sooooo very glad that your dad is home where he belongs! We hope he heals quickly and he can spend the rest of his life being healthy and serving you pugs. Now, about the smoking . . . our mom smoked for MANY years, like about 20. Then she quit. She hates to see anyone smoking BUTT she said if your dad stopped smoking right now he would probably be coughing like crazy and that would probably be VERY painful! So her suggestion is to wait until he is healed and then try to talk him into quitting.

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  20. HEY GUSSIE.... your dad IS wearing a harness... butt we think it MIGHT be a NO DRIVING Harness, instead of a Walkin one...

OMD it is SOOOOOOOOOOooo good that your Dad.. Mr. Butch is HOME with all of YOU ... where YOU can see to his recovery.. and With YOUR help... we bet that 6 months will be WAY less than the Dr. Pawdicted... We of Blogville KNOW these thingys...
We know he is in EXCELLENT PAWS ... NOW.

  21. OMC we are so very very glad that your Dad is home!!!!!! That is so wonderful for you all. Now you tell him to stop that nasty smoking because it slows down his healing (that is what our Mom the nurse says). We are sending luvs and purrs and wet kisses and wags and hugs from Mom to your Mom and Dad.

  24. It is so good to see your Dad home with all of you. Now to get him well. We hope you told him all about the POTP because he is going to be surrounded by lots and lots of it from all over the world - AND it really works:)

Tell Mom to try to get some rest too and take care of herself. She can't help everyone else if she isn't well herself.
