HE IS AN IMPOSTER

Yep, folks we finks our mom brought home the wrong man!!!  Could her have been so tired that hers went into the wrong hospital room and grabbed up the first man that was crabby to her, and assumed it was our dad...???

We could give you a long list of everyfing that went wrong this weekend but it pains us to replay it in our minds, just know that when mom left for work, I fink hers was RUNNING out the door.  All I can say is the dad that we used to know threatened to give us away if we didn't straighten up.  You can imagine the conversation our parents had wif that comment.

Anyways today is dad's first day home wif just us and hims.  We may have to use some tough love on hims before mom gets home.

Grandma has another round of chemo on Wed. and then back Thursday for her infusion shot.  It is the shot that makes her the sickest.  She will most likely have chemo until December and then we will see.  She is so brave.

Here are some happy new pictures of Macey. Her mom got a new camera and is showing off.  (yes, we are STILL waiting on the compression wraps to be approved............it has been 7 months now and folks this is with really good insurance)

Here is one mom took of baby bean on Friday night, as you can tell our big sister is the true photographer.

Sometimes you just gotta laugh when you really wanna cry.

  1. Wow, your big sister takes some beautiful photographs but of course how could they turn out anything but beautiful?!?! We are so sorry that your weekend was a disaster. This caretaking business is tough! Does your dad know about the enema? Tell your mom to enjoy her time away from these hard responsibilities (even if it is work) and to not feel guilty!!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  2. I'm so sorry that so much things went wrong last weekend. I hope so much that your week will be better than that black weekend. I send a lot of POTP to your daddy, your mom, macey and your grandma, the shots are horrible, my mommas bff said if something tops the after- and sideeffects of chemo, than that shots.
I was glad to see your baby bean... we all need a laugh at the end, right? That was a good feeling just to laugh with her :o)

  3. those are some wonderful photos - it is so not right poor Macey has to wait for the stockings - they are awful to wear but they do help. Mom came across some in a catalog the other day that are available in petite sizes and wondered if they would fit her - now she has to hunt to find the catalog again - she will send you the web addy when she finds it.

  7. After being away from Blogville, I've been doing a lot of catching up on everyone's blogs...I am so sorry to hear of all that's been happening in your world lately. Was glad to be able to read that your Dad has come home, that is a very good sign. Your grandma is such a very brave, strong woman! I can very much see where your mother gets all her amazing strength from. Your Macey is such a pretty young lady, and your big sister takes some very beautiful photos of her!

Sending lots of hugs and good thoughts your way.

  8. Stella,
Your papa is gonna be crabby cuz he hurts. Not too different from us pups when we hurt - we lash out with teeth bared and we bark for no reason. Hopefully as he starts to heal the crabbiness will fall away. Lucky for him he has you 3 and your Mommy - although it may not seem like he appreciates you much these days.
Oh but seeing the smiling faces of the grandkids is enough to brighten up anyone's day.

We are so very sorry to read that the weekend was R O U G H!
Your sweet mom is trying so very hard. She is not a medical professional...the only training she has is on the job but WE KNOW she is doing her very best. It might be time to have a serious heart 2 heart with the Dad about catching more flies with honey than vinegar...yada yada yada. It is that or the enema!

Your mom is is BEST ally we know he feels poorly but being crabby doesn't make him feel any better.
Macey is such a good poser and so beautiful. My word 7 months to approve the compression hose...is it because of her age..if so still no excuse. Your baby bean is a real little princess.

    Sending hugs madi and mom

  18. We are sorry the weekend was rough for you all, and hope as your dad feels better, it will get easier. Lady and Man have a touch of the flu and Lady wanted to get all whiney and stuff, and then she remembered what your family and some of our other blog pals are going through and she sucked it right up (ok, she was whiney in her head but we didn't have to hear it). Those pictures are amazing. You are lucky to have such sweet gals in your life.

  24. Ghostwriter says Grumpy Hour is 7PM, and you have to think up a good joke. Her favorite joke is this: If your nose runs and your feet smell, then you're built upside-side down! She says after working with grumpy people for 34 years, laughter is still the best medicine! The second best medicine is patience. It might seem like it will take forever to get back to normal; but sooner or later things WILL be better.

  27. Oh mi gosh! That baby bean is just too precious! and Macey, so beautiful! As for dad, I guess when you are recovering from such a serious injury, the pain just makes you crabby. Got prayers coming for your grandma, hope all goes well with the chemo.

Sending hugs and prayers from NJ, Patty

  28. Hmm, maybe you can do a DNA test to make sure that crabby guy is really your daddy! I heard humans can DNA test dog poop now, so there's an easy way to do it!
