Thank you

Mom opened the blog this morning and there was Turd looking at her from anothers post.  Mom turned into the great pretender.  Mom told me several times in her life she became the pretender because that is how her robot heart and brain handles situations otherwise she would have a nervous breakdown in front of her coworkers and have to go home.  At 2:21 am this morning mom and i were just sitting in the dark of the livingroom.  We couldn't go out on the porch and drink coffee cos it was cold and to early...so we just sat there in the quiet and listened.  Mom couldn't explain to me just what we were listening for cos she couldn't find the right words..so I just sat on her lap and waited.  Mom said we may be waiting for along time before she can tell me.

Some of you have asked what happened to Turdie.  Turd had bad breathing problems at times, and on that day mom came home at lunchtime and she wasn't breathing very well.  She rushed her over to the vet, and after several trys at making turdie feel better the Vet said it would be the kindest thing to let her go.  Mom wished she could have went with her, or just kept her forever.

Mom said we will be back when her words come back.  Thank you for being our friends.

  3. Oh Stella, so very sorry your Trudie had to leave you but you now have to carry Trudie in your heart. I knows your heart feels heavy and sitting in the dark and quite helps. Trudie is light as a feather and feels no more distress. Let your heart be light with the memory of Trudie and what wonderful times you had.
    Thanks for being a friend

  5. Tell your Mommy that it's OK Stella! We completely understand how she is feeling. My Mommy went thru the same thing when her Mom died. She too turned into a robot and the world became very mechanical to her. Mommy is crying right now because she knows.... It takes time Stella, it really does. Be there with your Mom because it will help. Everything in its own time!

    Hugs,

  11. Stella Rose... I thought of YOU so often yesterday. I know how much Trudie (TURD) will be missed. I think your mom was so BRAVE and Truly LOVING to Help Trudie along her way. We are very Proud of her fur doing the RIGHT thingy.. when it is SOOOOOOOO HARD to do.
I wish Ernie and I could come to your house and give her a HUGE Kiss.
We are so lucky that TURD left us with some SUPER memories. Those will help to ease the sadness.

  14. very tragic news. Take comfort in knowing we are all right here for when you are ready. Healing takes time. Should you need anything at all you can count on us to be there. You had to make a very difficult decision but one that was the best. Your little angel is with you always you just can no longer see her.

  16. I am so sad to read this news right now. I have been missing some posts and now I visited your bloggie and see this sad news.
You tried everything you could for Turdie- you gave her love- and you gave the kindest gift there is - in letting her go into the arms of the angels.
I know what it is like to have missing words. I understand.
