Abby spent the day at the vet and she did have to have IV's. Mary Ann will be picking her up later. I am hoping that once they get her diet under control and she gets her two shots a day that maybe someday she will not even need them. I hope the worse is behind them?? I will let you know more tomorrow.

That is good.
ReplyDeleteWE had a dachshund... YEARS ago... who needed insulin Daily... It was a bit... restrictive for US... since the meal and the shot had to come within a two hour window every single day... not before 4:00 and not later than 6:00 PM... we generally eat at 5:00 and that was the good time to give Gretel her shot... but it was well worth the now and then ... inconvenience... because she was FINE once we got her on the right dose and the schedule. We hope that Abby won't even need all of that... butt if she does... it is pretty simple and will make her feel SO much Better. Gretel lived 4 years after she was diagnosed... with FULL quality of LIFE...
YAY!!!!
