Mom says this is the real Alcatraz, ours looks better.
Dad does not think so.
I am sure you are sick of listening to the ongoing discussion from our house as to WHY we even NEEDED A #** fence and we promise this will be the last post about it.......
Mom says the new fence looks beautiful.....Dad says it is to big, Mom says it is just a little longer not wider....Dad says he could feed goats out there......Mom suggested he pitch a tent out there and live from now on.
We are wondering if we are gonna need therapy after listening to them last night.

Your mom is right and your dad just needs to accept it! Tell your dad that if you the have a safe place to lounge and exercise that it will give your pawrents some privacy so they can kiss or fight, whichever the case may be. Just sayin' . . . 😉
ReplyDeleteYour pals,
Murphy and Stanley 🐕
Well, I think you doggies should come first, and if dad has a problem with the fence, maybe he should sleep in a tent! Maybe you should all sleep in a tent, as your therapy, which will be needed!
ReplyDeletePippa :)
I say get two little goats and put them out there, and make him happy! (They will!)
ReplyDeleteWe are definitely on Mom and Your side. If you have a safe area big enough to play and exercise or just hang out you will be happier. It might even help with "accidents" in the house. Mom & Dad bought another Xpen before we went camping which expanded our penned area. Mom thinks it really helped Greta feel like she wasn't so "contained" and she was more relaxed when mom was outside the pen area. If you guys are happier, it will be less stress for all.

Oh Puggy Buddies...I hope and purr the battle of the fence doesn't send anyone into therapy. Oh dear me. MOL If you dad pitches a tent or starts feeding goats out there please take photos.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bff
well little pugs try to convince the dad to join you in alcatraz so he can see how nice it is ...
ReplyDeleteUh-oh ...
ReplyDeleteYou NEED a fence like ours but the pawrents keep adding to the deck and putting in more gardens so our yard keeps getting smaller and smaller!

well, my furiends, I think that you need a fence to keep you safe - especially with Stellie's poor vision. Remind dad that at the end of the day it's just a fence. Mum says to tell him "Happy wife, happy life"
ReplyDeleteEdgar and his mum
All I know is mom is laughing so hard. Pops would look so nice out there. You would be able to visit him regularly in his tent. Doesn't pops realize if mom gets her way his life will be so much easier

Hey, I want to see a photo of this fence, so we can determine whether it is as horrid as your dad says. We always had solid fences in Ca., but here in our new home we have a wrought iron fence that is somewhat open. Of course, we put chicken wire around the bottom half so the coyotes couldn't get their heads through and so Petrol couldn't get out.
ReplyDeleteHave a good afternoon.

New Alcatraz for daddy then. We think safety first and a penned off area is so right. No worries and fun for the brood. Daddy be careful you might be sleeping there for the foreseeable future.
ReplyDeleteHave a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
If they get to far off the deep end, Dad can pick you guys up and bring you here on his way back from Wisconsin in 10 days! Just get to Cedar Rapids, he will spend the night there. Give us a ringie and brother Mickeys dad will let Our Dad know!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Bwahaahaa! Sorry we're laughin' at your dad living in a tent out there. But the good bit is you could camp out with him sometimes OR have his side of the big bed....just an idea.
ReplyDeleteWe don't want to take sides, but we are sure your new places is safe and if you have to have a fence, have a nice one.
ReplyDeletePull your head in Dad. Mum's right on this one. Go buy a goat and a tent and the two of you can live out there. Goats are cool blokes. Might make you see some sense! *Whew ... Charlie's Mum here! Sorry but sometimes Charlie just has to say it as it is* Crikey Mum what did I do? Did I say something wrong, again? Sorry if I did but blimey that bloke needs help.I was just stickin' up for my mates!! Seems to me the only one that needs therapy in that household is Dad. Keep posting about it. We need to know the outcome and its good to vent, aye??
ReplyDeleteOh I understand parents causing therapy. Been there. Maybe the fence is there to keep things out.
ReplyDeleteOMD y'all are getting goats and your dad is going to live with them, PAWESOME!
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully

Hey gang,
ReplyDeleteNot the fence problem again! Poor Mom!! We totally agree that she is doing the right thing by keeping you all safe and sound. Safety should be the #1 priority! We're sorry that Dad is giving her such a hard, hard time about it all. Stand your ground Mom! We are behind you 100% in your fight to keep the fence where it is. Hopefully Dad will get over it real soon. If not, just fry him up some bacon and all will be good. Bacon always solves everything.
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
