FALLIN DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE

Sometimes ours momma falls down the rabbit hole and it takes hers awhile to climb back up.  Hers toles us she often runs into peoples like this picture while hers is down there, ....and she misses us, and wishes we could saves her.

Hers toles us that work is often times like the rabbit hole.  It takes up all her daylight time and all her nighttime and doesn't even leave us a sliver of hers to go around.  She misses out on important stuff like us going to the Pug Ranch Tavern, hers promised hers would join us for an ale, and wishing Dad good luck on his new job, and even tucking us into ours bed at night.  Dad has forgotten for two weeks that we needs to brush ours teef.

But today hers came home at lunchtime and visited wif us.  She told us she can finally see a light at the end of the hole, .....that means hers will start to be home more.

There are many more important things in life that what the rabbit hole offers.........

Drake's 6th birthday, and McKenna getting ready to go to church camp on Sunday...these are what is important.

  4. Stella, please tell your mom that there's no shame in asking for help getting out of that hole. Sometimes, humans need extra help or even medication to get out of that hole. Our mom is on a pill to help stay out of the hole. It took several tries to find one that worked, but she kept bugging her doctor to find one. Plus, her thyroid is messed up which can also send you down a hole. She takes medicine for that too.
If our mom who is super independent, bought her own house, lives with just us, does all the work around the house including the yucky stuff can ask for help, anyone can. It's no different than diabetes or cancer or a broken leg. If you need help, you need it.
Sometimes, adorable pugs just aren't enough to counteract the chemical imbalance in the brain.
    Much love to you.

  7. Crikey ...... lucky Mum. I would LOVE to go down a rabbit hole. You missed getting your toothies brushed for two whole weeks? That sounds like a good deal to me but I think I'd rather have my toothies brushed every night than not have my Mum around. You must miss her VERY MUCH, aye??

  11. We know exactly how you feel. Mama's job takes up too much time and then her is so tired when she comes home. We haven't even had too many adventures this summer. At least your mama sees some light at the end of the tunnel ...

  14. I hope the light will shine for your momma so she can see the end of that rabbit hole. I understand that we sometimes need a day what has 87 hours or more. Happy Birthday to Drake and I hope McKenna has a great time at the church camp.
