ALMOST PUGNAPPED

THIS IS MY VERSION OF SAM RUNNING.....DAD TOLD MOM THIS STORY WHEN SHE GOT HOME FROM WORK LAST NIGHT...
SAM WAS OUT PLAYING IN THE YARD AND HE CHASED A RABBIT UP BY THE HIGHWAY.  SAM KNOWS HE IS NEVER TO GO CLOSE TO THE ROAD BUT HE OFTEN IGNORES MOM AND DAD WITH THAT RULE. ANYWAY DAD WAS CALLING HIS NAME SO HE WOULD COME ONTO THE PORCH AND A WOMAN STOPPED IN A CAR AND OPENED THE DOOR.  DAD SAID SHE MUST HAVE THOUGHT HE DIDN'T BELONG TO ANYONE SO SHE WAS GOING TO TAKE HIM HOME.  TAKE HIM HOME HECK SHE WOULD HAVE DROPPED HIM BACK OFF BEFORE THE MOON CAME OUT!!!  WHEN SHE SAW DAD RUNNING TOWARD THE CAR SHE DROVE AWAY.

MOM WAS VERY UPSET ABOUT THE WHOLE INCIDENT WHEN SHE HEARD ABOUT IT AND GAVE SAM LOTS OF KISSES AND HUGS AND TOLD HIM TO NEVER EVER GO UP THERE AGAIN.  SAM HAS HIS ID ON HIM SO SHE HAD TO KNOW HE WASN'T A STRAY, MOM SAID SHE MUST HAVE THOUGHT HE WAS HANDSOME...YUCKY!!!

TRUDIE AND I WERE WAITING ON SAMMER TO END UP ON TIME OUT AND NOT GET TO SLEEP WITH OUR PARENTS BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED.  INSTEAD I BELIEVE HE GOT EXTRA ATTENTION FOR THE INCIDENT.  TRUDIE AND I ARE PLANNING ON DOING SOMETHING REALLY STUPID TODAY TO SEE IF WE WILL GET SOME EXTRA ATTENTION ALSO....I AM NOT SURE WHAT WE ARE GONNA DO BUT IT WILL BE SUPER STUPID.....

  3. Momma's dog was pugnapped when she was little! Right after another dog went missing and they put up posters advertising a $500 reward, her pug Logan disappeared. Even though he had his tags on, no one called until they also put up reward signs.

  7. Hi Stella Rose!
Sam is sure lucky that he was safe from harm and pugnapping. But seriously...I live in a town and if I see a dog with no people around, even with tags, and they are coming up to the highway, I even stop and try to get them to come into my car so I can take them to my vet's office and keep them safe. So...we have no idea the intentions of this lady, but Thank the Lord your daddy was there to keep Sam safe.
By the way, we are awarding you with the versatile bloggy award tomorrow on our bloggy. Check it out!!

  9. EEK! That made my heart skip a beat. I think sometimes people might stop to check for id on a dog next to a road. Still, it would scare me badly!
