FOOD CONTEST--KABASHED!!

While my mom is at the gas station getting  a donut before work I thought I would sneak on here to let you  know I have came up with a plan to help me, turdie, and sammer out in the “ my mom doesn’t cook very well or at all” department.  A CONTEST!  Yes, that’s right a food contest!  Here is my plan.  I will offer a prize to the furry kid out there that sends me the tastiest food!  That’s right...I will strive to spend my days chomping down on the delicious delicacies sent to me to decide who will be the winner.  There will be many categories to enter...such as pies, cakes, sandwiches, cookies, crock pot meals and such.   Since dry ice is available at the stores there should be no problem with shipping anything UPS to our house.   Turdie said I would need to tell Mom what is going on, cos her and Dad are gonna start to wonder why they are getting food in the mail.
BUSTED….Mom just read my blog and put the kabash on it! (course she is eating her donut in front of us) Her words, were, “no way, no how, NO!!”  I suggested since school has started maybe she could go back and retake Home Economics again since she apparently paid for the class and it didn’t work.  I must have crossed the line, cos now I am blogging from my crate!!

  10. I really like your idea of getting dad on your side as far as cooking. Get him in your corner and you'll be fine. Catering sounds good.

So glad your mom got some blue bottles! I hope rain comes your way soon too.

  13. Since your momma can't cook (very well) have her fill a pot with water and boil boneless skinless chicken breasts. SO yummy for pups and pugs!

For mom's own eating I suggest she use some of that boiled chicken, season it, chop it up, put it on a flour tortilla, add LOTS of tasty cheese, and put a flour tortilla on top. Put in a frying pan and brown and melt. Chicken quesadillas!!! Add salsa and sourcream on the side.

One pot of Chicken...meal for human and pups. Simple.

  14. Stella, sorry you got busted. The thing about cooking for pugs is that they really don't care about the taste. So the food could be gross to humans but we would eat it up and love it! Most of our dog food ingredients are steamed, then chopped through the food processor. The grain (brown rice, quinoa, oatmeal, etc.) is usually cooked in the crock pot. Dump it in, add water, turn it on and leave it.
There are lots of cook books for dogs out there if your mom is interested. Simple is better because honestly, we really don't care if you spent hours julienning carrots. They all taste the same!
