Cos it has HEATED SEATS!!!! What a FANTASTIC invention...to have a warm butt while hers is driving, AND in MOM's case while she is curled up hiding in the car.....awwwww.....warmth.
Now it is not HERS car but her baby girls car that she borrowed to take Grandma to the DOC but since the snow happened NOW Grandma's appt. is NOT until NEXT MONDAY so MOM has to take the car back today...as soon as she gets warm enough or the gas runs out OR the crapometer gets out of the red zone. SHE may be out there for quite awhile cos she filled the tank last night.
While Mom was hiding she got to thinkin about the fact that she has been blessed in her lifetime to never have more than one crap to deal wif at one time. Oh she has had some hard crap but just like one crap not two or three craps thrown at her. She knows people whose lives are full of that stuff cards are made for, but not hers. The truth being she is hiding cos she cannot CONTROL one thing that is happening. NOT one CRAPPY thing, or TWO Things or THREE Things....AND she knows once she walks through that door wif her Mom next Monday no one will walk back out that door the same. Ever.
So for now she is just hiding in the car, in the parking lot with the motor running, .......feeling the warmth of that heated car seat. Sometimes life is just that simple and other times it can be CRAPPY.

Momma has heated seats in her car, and she lurves them. She says she doesn't even have to turn the regular heater on, as long as her tush gets warm. BOL!
ReplyDeleteOh Stella, we know how all that crappy stuffs go. One crappy thing at a time is hard enough to handle, but when the sh*t hit's the fan and it comes all at once, it can be overwhelming! Tell your Mom to hang in there and just breath. Unfortunately, there is not much one can do about it, so you have to just set your mind to just dealing with one crappy issue at a time. We're so sorry that so much is going on over there.

That's the worst that we have accept some things and we have no chance to change or control it. I hope so much that some good things will happen ... and while we wait we can try to enjoy some simple things like a warm car seat and a puppy kiss.

Stella Rose darlin' you are wise beyond your years. Dear me my mom surely knows all about what you are talking about. 2013 was a year that threw all kinds of uncontrollable things at our house. Mom is like your mom too...mom likes things in order and up until 2013 always knew what would happen next. Then lo and behold things happened that had never happened. Oh I feel for your Mommy I really do. Crappy things just seem to keep knocking the wind out of us. I to was thinking of you yesterday. There was a girl of puberty in Lee's doctors office and they were ordering a test called a lymphangiogram she had one swollen leg and worn compression stockings. We said a silent prayer for your Macey.

We just read your previous post and we're sorry your grandma has to have more tests and stuff. Mum totally agrees. If doesn't matter how old you are, you are need your mum and when they are sick, well, it's not right at all. We have all paws crossed for your family, especially Rory and he even leaves them crossed when he tries to walk sometimes (and that's the truth) but when he falls over he just laughs and says he's doing it for Macey. Your mom is smart. Your mom has a good heart and she has more wisdom than she probably realizes. She has a lot of strength. Sometimes people who are called strong or survivors would like to just fall apart for awhile but your mom is hanging tough cuz she knows the road ahead is not smooth and like you said, she has no control over most all of it. So staying warm to avoid kinking up is probably a smart thing to do. Embrace that moment.
